COMPLETE BLOOD COUNT (CBC): Complete blood count commonly called CBC is a complete count of various types of cells (including haemoglobin) present in the blood of the patient. It also includes parameters that give percentages and ratios of blood components to detect variation from normal blood composition.
BLOOD PROTOZOA (BP): This test is prescribed to detect single-celled parasites in the blood called Protozoa. These include Babesia species, Ehrlichia species, Hepatozoon species, Leishmania species. Most of these blood protozoa are transmitted through ticks and produce fever as symptoms thus giving these diseases a common term ‘TICK FEVER’
