Virbac Epiotic is a gentle ear cleanser for dogs and cats of all age ages. The non-irritating and drying cleansing formula is safe for puppies and kittens. Epiotic removes crusts and earwax from the pet’s ears and leaves clean ears with fresh apple blossom fragrance. Spherulites facilitate slow release of ingredients long after product application. Chitosanide, a natural biopolymer, forms a protective layer on skin and hair, promoting better hydration. With Spherulites and Chitosanide, the effectiveness of the cleansing solution is further improved. The safe pet ear cleaner can also be used prior to other otitis externa treatments to raise their chances of success.

Ingredients: Water, propylene glycol, lactic acid, Spherulites, docusate sodium, salicylic acid, PCMX, dimethicone, fragrance and FD&C blue #1. Lactic acid and salicylic acid are present in encapsulated (SPHERULITES) and free forms. Chitosanide is present in encapsulated form.

Direction for use: Turn the nozzle and apply liberally into the ear canal. Gently rub the base of ears and then clean the interiors with cotton or cloth moistened with Epiotic.  Use 2 to 3 times a week to maintain proper ear hygiene. It can also be used as a pre-treatment preparation in case of otitis externa, or any other therapy or as directed by the veterinarian.
