The Toy That Squeaks in All the Right Places
Dogs have always been fascinated by birds — and the BASIL Bird Plush Pet Toy taps into exactly that instinct. With a soft, cuddly plush body in a bright pink colour and a strategically placed squeaker in the neck, this toy triggers your dog’s natural prey curiosity and play drive every time they pick it up, squeeze it, or carry it around.
Simple, safe, and designed to bring out the most playful side of any dog, the BASIL Bird Plush is one of those toys that earns a permanent place in your dog’s favourite toy rotation. Made by BASIL — one of India’s most trusted pet toy brands — from non-toxic, premium-quality materials that meet the brand’s standard safety requirements for pet toys.
What Makes This Toy Stand Out
Squeaky Neck — Strategically Placed for Maximum Fun
The defining feature of the BASIL Bird Plush is the squeaker in the neck. This placement is deliberate — it is the first area dogs naturally mouth and grab when they pick up a bird-shaped toy, meaning the squeaker activates easily and consistently from the very first interaction. Dogs get immediate positive reinforcement with sound every time they engage, which keeps them returning to the toy again and again throughout the day.
Soft Plush Construction — Gentle & Inviting
The entire body of the bird is made from soft, premium-quality plush fabric — gentle against a dog’s mouth, paws, and skin. The softness makes it ideal for puppies and dogs who prefer a gentler chewing and carrying experience over harder rubber toys. It is equally well-suited for snuggling, napping, and cuddling alongside active play.
Bright Pink Colour — Visually Engaging
The vibrant pink colour makes the bird easy to spot during indoor fetch, visually distinct in a toy basket, and instantly appealing to dogs who respond to brighter-coloured toys. It also makes this toy a natural gifting choice — cute for birthdays, adoption day celebrations, or as a first toy for a new puppy.
Non-Toxic & Pet-Safe Throughout
Every material in the BASIL Bird Plush meets BASIL’s standard quality requirements for pet safety. The toy is fully non-toxic — safe for mouthing, chewing, and carrying with complete peace of mind.
Benefits for Your Dog
- Instant engagement — the squeaky neck triggers immediate play instinct and keeps dogs interested throughout every session
- Satisfies natural prey drive — the bird shape and squeaking response tap into the natural curiosity and prey-focused play style dogs are wired for
- Comfort companion — the soft plush body makes it equally well-suited for cuddling, carrying, and sleeping with during downtime
- Reduces boredom and anxiety — a consistently engaging squeaky toy keeps dogs occupied during alone time, particularly helpful for puppies and dogs prone to separation anxiety
- Great for interactive play — toss it, squeak it, and let your dog fetch and return it — a simple but endlessly enjoyable interactive game for any indoor space
- Safe for gentle mouthing and soft chewing — the plush construction makes it appropriate for regular gentle use throughout the day
Who Is This For?
- Puppies discovering the world of toys and developing play instincts for the first time
- Small to medium dogs that enjoy soft, squeaky toys they can carry and cuddle
- Dogs with a prey drive or bird curiosity who respond enthusiastically to bird-shaped toys
- Pet parents looking for a fun, affordable, and visually delightful gift toy for their dog
Also available in Orange for pet parents who prefer a different colour while keeping the same great features.
Please note: Always supervise your pet during play. Inspect the toy regularly and replace if significant wear or damage occurs. This toy is designed for gentle to moderate play — not suitable for very aggressive chewers.
